We don’t base our quotes only on distance, however, as factors such as number of staff, access and packing are taken into consideration before giving you a quote.
What size of vans should I expect from The-Edge removals?
We will decide on a van size after we have done a survey of your home. We are a reputable and highly experienced removals company in The-Edge so we understand the responsibility to use the right van. In a situation where we haven’t done a survey of your property, we will work off information you provide in deciding the right van to use.

We have a small fleet of cars for smaller projects and 3. ton vans for larger projects. In a situation where your house removal requires two smaller vehicles to complete, this is still cheaper than using a 1-ton lorry. We are an eco-friendly The-Edge business.
What is your position on bed and wardrobe dismantling and assembling?
Except in situations where we have already discussed dismantling with you, you need to have all items that will require dismantling already done. Careful preparation and proper arrangement helps forestall time wasting and additional stress. Although dismantling takes time, we are more than happy to help you do it as long as you notify us ahead of time.
Are you experienced in piano removals?

Should my chest of drawers be unpacked?
We will carry your chest of drawers as is, if it is strong enough to be moved when fully loaded and not excessively heavy. If the drawer is self-assembly, however, it is not designed to be moved when loaded.

Here at Removals The-Edge, we don’t handle hazardous or flammable items such as gas cylinders. Please make alternate arrangements as our insurance policy doesn’t cover such items. It is also important to drain items that run on petrol ahead of time.
What are the measurements for The-Edge Removals storage containers?
You can find storage containers of up to 20 cubic metres. You will need the 20 cubic metre storage option for proper storage with the average house.
Is there a deadline on The-Edge Removals storage unit use?
A storage unit can be booked for either one month or as long as is required, we have some clients that have had storage units for years.
Do you have a limit on items that cannot be stored in your storage units?
Weapons, gas cylinders and flammable liquids and all other hazardous items can’t be stored in our units.
